When purchasing a projector, we also recommend purchasing an extra lamp as part of the cost of the original projector purchase. Then you are prepared when and if the lamp goes. It should be about 6 years at average usage times, BUT when it does go, it can be hard to have to wait if the lamp is not in stock. If you purchase an extra up front, then you are prepared!
